Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 22, 2026
The short version: We collect what we need to run GhostBill Pro, we use it to provide and improve the Service, we don't sell it, and we work with trusted providers to keep things running. The details are below.
1. Who this applies to
This Privacy Policy explains how GhostBill Pro handles personal information for the people who use our Service, account holders, anyone they invite, and the clients they invoice. If you received an invoice or approval link, the person or business that sent it controls that information within the Service, and we handle it on their behalf.
2. Information we collect
We collect information you provide when you create an account and use the Service, the content you put into the Service to run your business, information needed to process payments where you enable them, and basic technical and usage information that helps us operate the Service and keep it secure. We aim to collect only what we reasonably need.
We do not store full payment-card numbers. Where you accept payments, card details are handled directly by our payment provider.
3. How we use information
We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve the Service; to communicate with you about your account and the Service; to process payments and prevent fraud and abuse; and to meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
What we don't do: we don't sell your personal information, share it with advertisers, or use the content of your invoices to train AI models or to market to your clients.
4. Sharing
We share information with trusted third-party service providers who help us run the Service, for example, hosting, payment processing, and email delivery. These providers may only use the information to provide services to us. We may also disclose information where required to comply with the law or valid legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the Service.
5. Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and afterward for as long as reasonably necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the Service is used so we can improve it. We don't use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
7. Your choices and rights
You can access and update most of your information directly in the Service, opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link, and request a copy or deletion of your data by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws.
California residents: under the CCPA/CPRA you have the right to know what personal information we collect, request access or deletion, and opt out of any "sale" or "share" of personal information. We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise these rights, email support@ghostbillpro.com.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit and at rest and access controls. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
9. Children
The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
10. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the date above and notify you where appropriate. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
